Callaloo Poets ‘open mic’ poetry reading on Saturday, October 17, 2009
October marks the commemoration of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and in support of this very important issue, the Callaloo Poets are hosting a special poetry reading themed “Stop the Violence: Love Doesn’t Hurt.” This ‘open mic’ poetry event, which is held in conjunction with the Family Support Network, is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Mellow Moods Café in Road Town, Tortola, The Virgin Islands at 7:00pm. Performers are asked to arrive at 6:45pm for sign-up.
